Sneak preview of Chevy hybrid

Chevrolet has released teaser pictures of the production version of its innovative Volt hybrid.

Our image is a close-up of the lights, which get xenon bulbs and strip-style foglamps. Discreet badging can be seen on the side vents, too. The firm has also revealed a shot of the car’s rear, with the Chevy bow-tie and Volt logo underneath – visit www.autoexpress.co.uk to see it.

The newcomer is capable of 40 miles on battery power and hundreds of miles further once its petrol engine kicks in. It’s due on sale in the UK in 2010.
