The early arrival of the big freeze gave these time savers a proper work out as we measured their stamina and durability by how well they beaded water over five weeks on the bonnet of our Skoda Octavia test car, which was regularly driven throughout the test.

This was key as even if they are easier to apply you don’t want any protection to disappear in the first shower. We applied each to a strip of cleaned and clayed bonnet assessing just how easy they were to apply and how much you got for your money excluding any delivery costs.
