Watch this dog imitate the new VW Golf as part of a Dutch advertising campaign

It didn’t take long for us to fall for the new Volkswagen Golf. We’ve already awarded it road test wins against strong rivals including the BMW 1 Series and Hyundai i30, and it continues to shine as sales take off in the UK.

But the latest VW advertising campaign has left us a little cold. It’s slightly uninspiring to say the least, and not up to the standards we’ve come to expect from the German car giant.

However, across the channel in Holland, it appears VW’s advertising execs have been hard at work in an attempt to promote the new Golf – and here’s the result.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’d be like to watch a dog imitate a car, then this is the ad for you.

What's the difference between a dog and the new Golf?
One is a smelly, noisy critter who everybody looks at and says "Ahhhh!" in the tone usually reserved for new-born babies (except for the unfortunate owner who has to put up with its naughty behaviour). The other one is a small animal with four legs.

Well, this IS supposed to be a humorous thread! :-)

We all love the Golf really.

Will this latest model be a dog?
