AA Roadside and Home Start

Price: £108 Online offer: £83 Car or driver? Driver Contact: www.theaa.com, 0800 085 2721

Play word association with breakdown cover and it’s pretty likely the AA will be one of the first firms that comes to mind. With 3,000 patrols and an average response time of 40 minutes, the service provides cover for a staggering 15 million members. The firm says it fixes 80 per cent of breakdowns at the roadside and under this scheme, it’s the driver that’s covered, not the car. You won’t have to pay for any repairs or recovery separately, either.
