You can’t ignore the looks of this Clarion. We loved its mix of in-car retro and contemporary domestic hi-fi. The unit is dominated by a usefully large dot-matrix display in the centre, while the controls are big and easy to use, and both iPod operation and Bluetooth are options. Uniquely, the CD slot gives access to a six-disc autochanger, which makes this a good way to add multi-disc performance without going to the hassle or expense of installing a separate unit.
