Philips Britain & Ireland 2014

This A4-sized Philips Britain & Ireland atlas uses dark colours, includes boundaries and has poorly detailed junctions, so is more cluttered than rivals. That’s a shame, as the 3mpi scale is great in an atlas this size. The price is good, too, but the trade-off is cheap paper and a lack of bookmarks. Philips has included cameras and motorway service stations, but instead of fuel stations you get campsites. Town plans are great, but that’s not enough.
