Thank you!
More than 23,000 of you voted for your favourite new cars of 2011, making Driver Power the biggest survey of its type in the UK.
Once again, you got straight to the heart of everything you love and hate about your cars, your views couldn't have been clearer.
Your top 100 cars are listed below, but before we get stuck into the highlghts, let's take a look at the winners!
Skoda's domination of this year's survey is plain to see. Three out
the top four models come from the Czech firm’s range, which now looks
stronger than ever before.
At the top of the pile sits Skoda’s Superb. The flagship model is part executive saloon, part full-sized family car and all-round superstar. Pioneering
an innovative twin saloon/hatchback bodystyle in entry-level form, the
Superb is also available as a classy estate.
As far as we can tell, only badge prejudice prevents the load-lugger from tempting buyers away from premium badged German rivals. If you’re buying an executive saloon, a family car or even an MPV and the Superb isn’t on your shortlist – it should be!
Joining our trio of Skodas to complete the top five is the Jaguar XF, which finishes in third place, and the Nissan Qashqai, which takes fifth.
With the help of a substantial facelift last year, the Qashqai has launched itself from mid table mediocrity to a sought after top five position. One look at the scorecard and it’s clear the Nissan has cleaned up its act.
Finally, hats off to Jaguar for its third podium finish in as many years. You voted the XF number one for performance, number one for braking and number one for ease of driving - truly a breathtaking achievement. Jaguar has created a model that perfectly meets the dynamic brief of a sporty executive saloon.
You can read the full list of finishers from, one to 100, below.

No Toyotas in the top 50 then. How the mighty have fallen.
Good to see Vauxhall have raised their game and have a car in the top 10.
Glad to see my own Jaguar XF in third too......
Wot... No Fiat Multipla!!
Seriously, these are the top favourites but what were the bottom ones?!!? Notable vehicles missing were the Ford Kuga, I see loads and Kia sportage 2010/Hyundai iX35 which you cant get for love nore money as they are strugling with supply!!
Can't take any of this seriously. Not only are there the omissions listed by moriartywalton but you've got old Mazda 6 but no mention of new Mazda 3! What planet does this list apply to?
I must be the only owner of a Mitsubishi in the country and 100's of other Mitsubishi's i see are just a figment of my imagination
... 'nickbsmooth', you aren't the only owner of a Mitsubishi, but you are very much in the minority.
In 2010/11, Ford sold the vast majority of all motors in the UK, Vauxhall sold the next proportion, then Volkswagen.
Amazing result, and it's all about branding, confidence in a product, loyalty.
Skoda have this game sewn up for so many reasons:
1. They were up until the 90s a laughed at brand that nobody took that seriously, now we realise they have good products.
2. They offer VW tech at honest prices
3. They don't pretend to be 'sporty', 'dynamic', 'fashionable'
4. They still seem seperate from the ever expanding VW empire
5. They build the Yeti, a truly outstanding car
6. Could go on forever, will stop now
On low emissions, and specifically designed city cars with these attributes, the report is indicative of the fact that the politicians are out of touch, and consumers are not concerned with going green by battery power alone.
Where is Smart in all of this?

I have to take my BMW back to the garage for it to be repaired more often than I fill it up with diesel- is this a record?
also Dealer Principle told me when I complained that despite buying the near £30k car from them If I didn't like it I should drive a 120 mile trip to the next BMW dealer in Swansea (should have asked If he thought so little of his own service dept)
Now there’s a surprise, the Fiat Grande Punto coming 99th out of 100. I had the Sporting model for three months and that was to long.
Shame on HONDA , How the hell are they going to (try) sell the new model when the nearly new one did so bad ? I have started to hide mine & the corners of car parks now !
Glad to see this is unbiased as always!? Peugeot still being judged on the 307. No mention of their recent cars; 3008, 308 , 508, 5008, RCZ, where quality is right up there with the best. And hey in the manufacturers' table we have a new manufacturer listed Citeron ( bet you they're happy). Just thought you should know that I'm very happy with my 3008, my 4007 and my 308SW - all perfect. Didn't bother filling in this stupid survey because I guessed they wouldn't feature and I was right. Anyway I have enjoyed my lifetime of driving Peugeots, probably something in the region of 1.5 million miles, so I know a thing or two about them and hey no problems. Wow what a surprise! Guess I must be just lucky. Not prejudiced, but I won't be taking up your recommendation of a Superb, think I will just stick along with the LIon, and why not. In fact this survey is such a load of bull, think I'll go back to reading Autocar.

Sorry am I missing something here, your top 100 is anything but a list of favourite new cars of 2011, it's full of some very old cars that should no longer figure! There are so many new top notch quality cars missing. Therefore it doesn't in anyway adequately reflect the current state of a manufacture'rs model quality or attributes. Oh well, all grumping over, promise. Back to driving my Peugeots, but hey still going back to reading Autocar. Cheers!
this survey makes no sense at all. its as though it was asking people who know nuts about cars.
