On the face of it, £670 looks a lot to spend. But you get a great deal for the money. This deck features solid state Garmin sat-nav – so it doesn’t need to run off a disc – and mapping can easily be updated via an SD card. The rest of the spec is impressive; the unit plays all compressed file types on CD and has a USB socket on a flying lead. There’s also the option to add iPod, DAB, TV, TMC and Bluetooth hands-free. If you’re thinking of upgrading and including sat-nav, this is the product for you.
