MotorSportVision Rally

Price: £145 (half day) Drive time: 25 minutes

Visitors to this Brands Hatch rally day get the opportunity to drive Peugeot’s ageing but sharp-handling 206 Cup model, but as far as the venue goes, MSV has a real problem with the heavily-forested stages created alongside the race circuit. Unlike rival Silverstone, there’s no room for expansion without major tree felling, and the result is two tight, twisty stages where the cars have little chance to get into their stride. One ‘stage’ takes less than 15 seconds to complete, and to make matters worse, you get little time in the car – around half as much as you would in a similarly priced session on the circuit next door. As with the racing day offered by MotorSportVision, the venue needs to focus on improving service so customers don’t feel as if they are part of a factory process.
