Overall Auto Express Rating

3.0 out of 5

Best price: Free | Subscription: £1.49 for sounds/no ads | Available for: iOS/Android

While there’s no yearly subscription fee for the iSpeedCam, you have to pay to enable sounds and disable ads. We tried the free version, and camera accuracy was good, with distance and direction offered. You’re warned well in advance and shown where the camera is in relation to your car with the compass, plus it flashes if you’re speeding. There’s also a map view, so you can pinpoint your location. The big letdown was speed limit accuracy, which was wrong several times, including claiming the limit was 40mph on a national speed limit A-road.
