The 4Zero features laser detection, and although this is a helpful addition, it’s a little over zealous in town. Overall camera detection wasn’t quite flawless, either, as it picked up a camera on the opposite side of the road (the only device to do so). Speed was very accurate, though, and alerts were well in advance, with clear voice instructions. It’s slightly better value than the Road Angel Gem+, too, but there’s no constant speed limit shown and touch-sensitive buttons are a bit fiddly. The main disappointment is the suction mount, which failed to hold the device to our windscreen.
