Just like its hot MG ZT brother, the 75 is still a great long-term ownership proposition. Soon to return with new engines and a facelift under the Chinese Roewe badge, the 75 is proving it deserves a second chance. While the Rover has given up its ride quality number one spot, second is still a great achievement. You also like the cabin comfort. The 75 only drops out of the top 50 in the practicality rank, where its shallow boot has counted against it. There's plenty of life left in the Rover yet!

“Great cruiser for distance travelling but not great around town. Very comfortable ride.”
Mr Brendan Gallagher - Cheshire“Pity the company went bust. Best British mass produced car for many, many years.”
Mr Michael Jones - Berks“Potentially good vehicle let down by usual UK issues with poor build quality and design. When it is a dockyard job to change a headlight lamp, someone has his brain in the wrong place.”
Mr Terry Aldcock - Hampshire“It is a well made and beautiful car to drive. Rear visibility for parking could be better and I had fitted a reversing kit to help in this regard.”
Mr Joe Fearon - Somerset“I like the car's classic style. Its a pleasure to drive and apart from a clutch failure has proved to be very reliable. Cost of spares is very expensive and only genuine Rover parts seem to be available.”
Mr Trevor Bellyou - Essex“Very underestimated over the years. It was great value when I bought it, and I was pleased to see it get to number one spot for ride in the previous Driver Power.”
