The fact that Hyundai’s fine-value Coupé finishes only seven places lower than the Audi TT and 12 places higher than the Nissan 350Z proves that owners are relatively satisfied.

A position of 24th for reliability shows that the firm is making durable cars these days, while 28th for handling indicates that the shapely two-door delivers on the road. If only the ride was better.

A jump of four places lifts Hyundai into mid-table. Its cars came seventh for reliability, although 26th in the performance ranking is no vote of confidence. It will be aiming to close further on Kia in 2010.
