Lexus RX

Few makers can match the driver satisfaction record of Lexus, and when one of the firm’s models makes its Driver Power debut, we expect great things.

The RX hasn’t disappointed, bursting into the top five. It’s not the freshest SUV on the block, but owners are smitten.

Running costs get the thumbs down, though, implying that the hybrid variant is not as economical as some might have hoped, while the soft suspension hasn’t helped handling.

But exceptional ratings in all other categories tell the tale of a car that’s hassle-free to own.

Your Quotes

“My RX is exceptionally comfortable – the seats are particularly good. It’s pretty bulletproof, too, and is still running perfectly well on the original battery.”

MANUFACTURER VERDICT

It's the first time Lexus has had to settle for the runner-up spot, but it shouldn’t be too disappointed. Second is still a glowing testament to a line-up that features quality and reliability across the board.
