The new SLK features muscular styling borrowed from the Mercedes SLS supercar.

The SLK has a classy interior and the folding hard top gives great refinement.

The engine range is made up of four petrols and a diesel.

The folding hardtop means that the boot is compromised with the roof down.

The roof folds away quickly and the cabin is free from turbulence.

The optional Airscarf heater vents in the headrests make this a year-round top-down cruiser.

Boot space is impressive with the roof up, but roof down it's only 225 litres with an awkward and narrow opening.
