Volvo lets Aston take the limelight

It was a case of the big cover-up on Volvo's Geneva Motor Show stand last week

At the last minute, Ford group bosses ordered a logo for the Swedish firm, 20 feet above the show hall floor, to be covered. This was to prevent it shining down on sister firm Aston Martin's international reveal of the Vanquish S Ultimate next door. Minutes after the conference, crews were busy taking down the white sheeting again.
