193,299: Price in pounds of the Ferrari F40 when it went on sale in the UK in 1987. Built to celebrate Ferrari's 40th anniversary, it was the most expensive new car available at the time.

40: Years since Sweden changed from driving on the right to the left. Suggestions at the time for Britain to follow suit were dismissed.

638: Increase in size of the new 1,298cc Daihatsu Copen roadster's engine over that of its predecessor. The original was only 660cc.

50: The number of special-edition Toyota Paseos customised by fashion designer Paul Galliant and offered for sale in 1996.
