MINI proves it is one in a million

MINI production reaches a landmark figure in UK

Although it's small, it's a big seller! The one millionth MINI - a Cooper S - has rolled off the line at the manufacturer's Cowley plant in Oxfordshire. When BMW relaunched the famous UK brand in 2001, it planned to make 100,000 models a year. But huge demand has led to 240,000 leaving the factory every 12 months.
