Toyota beats GM

Toyota takes top slot in manufacturing league

Japanese giant Toyota is on top! In the first three months of 2007, it shifted 2.35 million motors, making it the world's biggest car maker.

The previous holder of the title, General Motors, has been struggling financially and saw its first-quarter sales drop to 2.26 million.
