Motor museum's £1.7m makeover

The Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon, Warks, has undergone a £1.7million revamp

There are now three new interactive exhibitions, including one on car mechanisms through the ages, and another on transport history.

Meanwhile, classic car enthusiasts may also like to visit Vauxhall's Heritage Centre in Luton, Bedfordshire, on 10 June. Entry to its annual open day is free, and showcases the manufacturer's private collection of vintage models.
