SEVENTY per cent of young drivers aren’t interested in eco-friendly cars. A Lloyds TSB survey found a vehicle’s condition, brand and colour were top concerns. Of those who did go ‘green’, one in seven said they did so to impress friends and family.

THE Government has only just had its wrists slapped for earning millions from premium 0870 numbers. And now, recovery firm the RAC and its history check arm HPI have switched some 0870 contact lines to cheaper 0845 codes.

NEW rules have been introduced to govern private investigators who spy on insurance fraudsters. The Association of British Insurers says these include a list of what evidence needs to be collected, and who should have access to personal details.
