German firm Mercedes has released these teaser images of its exciting new C-Class based coupe. Due to be launched at the this month's Berlin Fashion Week, the newcomer is partially hidden by super model Eva Padberg.
Called the CLC, it takes inspiration from the bigger CLK and CL coupes. However, at the front it draws heavily on the C-Class saloon. Sporty details include darkened glass for the headlamps, a wider grille and a mesh finish below the bumper.
Lowered and stiffened suspension, 18-inch wheels and a revised steering system mean the CLC should drive as well as it looks. Under the bonnet will be range of motors already found on the saloon. Entry-level models receive the 185bhp supercharged 2.0-litre, while performance fans can expect a 6.2-litre V8 engined AMG version.
Expect the first UK examples to hit Mercedes showrooms in June.
