Hoff to a flier in scaled-down KITT

Forget David Hasselhoff. The real star of Eighties cult show Knight Rider was KITT – the talking car!

Knight Industries Two Thousand – to give the amazing machine its full name – was a customised Pontiac Trans-Am, and the stuff of many boys’ dreams. Now, you can get your hands on your very own remote-control version.

Unfortunately, it can’t travel at 300mph, and neither can it see where it’s going for itself. But the model does feature a flashing red LED bar at the front, as well as a ‘turbo-boost’ function, and when you press a button it talks in KITT’s voice! The car is 33cm long and comes with four AA batteries for the car and a 9V cell for the remote.
