Smart new FM transmitter

Macally FM

17th August 2008

Although many new cars are sold with Apple iPod connectivity as standard, those of us who don’t own the latest wheels can enjoy our MP3 tunes in the car with a Macally FM Port. This FM transmitter enables you to listen to your favourite digital tracks through the standard stereo.

The clip-on unit is powered either from the MP3 player itself or the in-car charger. And with a frequency range of 88.1 MHz to 107.9MHz, finding an available channel should be easy. A set of three button controls and a backlit screen make it simple to understand and operate, too. There is also a remote control for safer use while driving.

As an added bonus, an RDS function allows the unit to transfer Album, Artist and Song Title references to the radio’s display screen.

The Macally FM Port is fully compatible with Apple’s range of MP3 players, including the latest iPhone and iPod touch models.
