Voice recognition can be a difficult art to master, usually requiring time-consuming training to work correctly. However, with the Parrot Minikit Slim hands-free kit you can speak easy, as it is claimed to identify nearly all commands straight out of the box.

Voice activation is available at the touch of one button, and the device automatically synchronises with your phonebook and any pre-programmed commands. The slimline gadget is only 13mm thick and weighs a paltry 83g. It can be attached to most visors with a wire clip, and can also be used at home.

The Minikit Slim offers 15 hours’ talk time and up to 20 days’ standby power from a four-hour charge, while flat-panel speaker technology provides clear, even sound quality. The kit is also easily customisable; the first model to be offered is the floral-patterned Chic. Up to five phones can be paired with the device and it should be compatible with nearly all current Bluetooth-enabled mobiles.
