Take a look at the Citroen that’s set to turn the family car market upside down! This is the all-new DS4 – a premium people carrier that will join the DS3 supermini in the firm’s eagerly awaited new luxury line-up.
Gunning for Ford’s imminent C-MAX (previewed by the Iosis MAX), the DS4 gets huge headlights, a wide air intake and a sporty profile. Inside is a luxurious cabin with a sliding rear bench, complete with individually removable seats. Under the skin is a new front-wheel-drive platform, shared with the Peugeot 3008.
Heading the engine range will be a 1.6-litre turbo petrol unit and a 2.0-litre HDi diesel. Citroen will also use the DS4 to showcase the hybrid technology it has been developing with partner Peugeot. With stop-start and instant torque, this will give the DS4 strong economy and acceleration.
The production version of the DS3 will debut at September’s Frankfurt Motor Show, and a concept pointing to the DS4 is due early next year.

I like the (proposed) look of the DS4 - I don't know if it is any relation to the C4 but when they build it I hope they dont emulate the really bloody aweful suspension in the C4. Citroens are supposed to have nice comfortable rides (my 2000 Xsara has a beautiful ride) the C4 rides ok but only on perfect roads.
