A convoy of 10 historic and current Fords kicked off a UK tour last week to mark the firm’s centenary in Britain.
A 1911 Model T, a 1966 Anglia and the new 2011 Ford Focus estate were among the cars flagged off in London by DJ and renowned motoring fanatic Chris Evans.

The fleet will visit Ford factories and dealers around the country, heading as far north as Inverness in Scotland, and also stopping at the engine plant in Bridgend, south Wales.
The 10 cars include an electric version of the Transit Connect, which is expected to drive the full distance. “That’s so long as we can find enough charge points,” said a spokesman.
