The DIY (Drive It Yourself) Maybach

Here's an exclusive car for the rich and famous - but those without a chauffeur. The uprated Maybach 57 S is designed to appeal to owners who drive themselves, and boasts a huge 612bhp - 62bhp more than standard.

A hand-built AMG 6.0-litre V12 engine provides the extra power thanks to a twin-turbo set-up. A maximum 1,000Nm of torque ensures the massive 2,735kg limo can sprint from 0-60mph in only five seconds. Visual changes include a revised grille and headlights, fresh 20-inch alloy wheels and discreet 57 S badging. On sale now, the Maybach costs ΂£289,090.
