Sorento's world tour

Solo adventurer Christer Gerlach has completed a 17,000-mile world tour in a Kia Sorento.

The standard-spec vehicle, which even had normal road tyres, carried Gerlach across the most challenging terrain in 11 coun-tries, including remotest Mongolia, Kazakhstan and Siberia. The 61-year-old Swede made unscheduled stops only to fix two punctures, a light bulb and a loose headlamp.
