Inside, leather and Alcantara trim covers all five seats, while aluminium is used for the steering wheel-mounted paddleshifters and gearlever. There's also a 10-speaker CD changer and Bluetooth capability.
On the outside, the newcomer gets 19-inch alloys, plus a subtle bodykit comprising flared wheelarches, a chrome-edged grille and numerous air intakes. Quad exhausts complete the look at the rear. The S6 is available in saloon and Avant form, and prices will start at £52,000 when sales begin in late summer.
