Easy-fill Safety Spout

Fills not spills from neat spout

June 2009

Topping up your car’s screenwash reservoir can be a messy job. Spills are not only frustrating, they can also cause rust to form on the bodywork around the filler cap. But with the Easy-fill Safety Spout, you can make sure every last drop of fluid goes into the tank.

It’s a plastic spout that screws on to the end of the bottle. And while it doesn’t seem especially robust, it never gave any signs of failing in our test. The lid will attach to a variety of shapes and sizes of bottle – it even fits on petrol cans.

Thanks to the long neck, we could reach even awkwardly placed screenwash fillers. The one-way valve worked well, and only on a couple of occasions did we get any drips – these may have been from the tip, which was submerged in liquid. So it’s a sound solution to fluid spillages.
