Little more than a series of magazine features strung together, and Kelsey hasn't done much to disguise it. However, the format really works, providing an excellent, well written introduction to the hi-tech bits lurking under the bonnet of a modern car. High-quality, full-colour photographs, combined with too many case studies to mention, help to bring a dull subject to life.
