Long-term test review: Suzuki Swift - pictures

We're chuffed to bits that our Swift has a spare wheel - something of a rarity in new cars these days. 

Our Swift comes with a spare tyre, but all Swifts sold from February 2015 have had to make do with a repair kit. 

Tight rural roads get the best from sharp steering, while the rev-happy engine never feels short of pace.

Interior quality isn't great in the Swift, especially compared to newer rivals, but it's one very few complaints we have about the car. 

Cubbyholes around the cabin ensure the Swift is surprisingly practical and you can keep valuables out of view. 

Five-speed manual box is great for nipping around town, but the lack of a sixth gear means the engine can feel strained at motorway speeds.
