It's very pricey, but the Garmin nuvi 3598LMT-D is the easiest sat-nav to use, with simple menus and a useful keyword search. It found all the postcodes, addresses and POIs
we entered with ease, and there are multiple routes to choose from.
It's a big device, and the clear audio instructions are useful when you can't take your eyes off the road. It also took just five seconds to change its course when we went off of the set route.
Every 30 seconds the device searches for traffic info, keeping you right up to date, with alerts alongside the map - it's free, too. The nüvi 3598LMT-D is the best-looking sat-nav as well, and has the best mount we tested. Like an iPhone, you pinch to zoom and you can view in portrait or landscape modes.
European maps, Bluetooth and speed camera info cement the Garmin as the best sat-nav yet.
