While conventional all-season tyres vary little from their winter siblings, the latest designs have moved the focus from snow grip to the wet and dry conditions more likely to be experienced. The firm seems to have made the same move, but at a lower performance level. While others have sacrificed a little snow grip to enhance other areas, Bridgestone finished last by some margin in Finland.

It was much more effective in the wet, with decent aquaplaning resistance and a win in braking. It was runner-up in dry braking, but economy is a concern. A move in the right direction, but needs better execution.
