Aston Martin has released a series of online teasers that confirm it’s the latest manufacturer to get in on the Gran Turismo 6 act, with many brands revealing virtual concept cars to be included in the game.
Called the DP-100 Vision, the virtual racing car is set to debut tomorrow at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed, ahead of becoming available to download on PlayStation 3’s famous driving simulator game sometime next month.
Our first glimpse came yesterday in the form of two images: one of what appears to be a bulging front wheel arch, complete with narrow LED headlight, and the other of a mid-mounted engine housed beneath a see-through cover.
These stills have now been joined by a short trailer of the DP-100 Vision (below), revealing the Aston Martin’s wide stance and low-slung profile. Heavily sculpted flanks and C-shape rear lights are also visible, with a slopping roofline and pronounced shoulder lines on show, too.
Aston isn’t giving much else away when it comes to details, aside from revealing the digital GT racer was developed in-house by a team headed up by design chief Marek Reichman, who has previously given us the Rapide, Vanquish and One-77.
