Which are the best cars on sale in Europe? We want you to help decide

We’ve joined forces with our German sister magazine Auto Bild and our other sister titles across Europe in a contest to name the Continent’s finest cars – and we want your help.

Simply vote across seven categories in our poll, and we'll put the top five in each class forward. These finalists that will be tested by a judging panel in Balocco, Italy, this autumn.

Representatives from each magazine will evaluate the cars, and the overall winner will be announced at a ceremony in Germany, in November, with the results being published in Auto Express.

Click here to vote for your favourite small car, compact hatch, family car, SUV, coupe/convertible and MPV. There’s also a special award for the best eco-friendly innovation.

This survey is now closed. The results will be published in Auto Express magazine later in the year.

Where the hell is the all new Mazda CX-5 in this "Vote for Europe's Best Car"...WHERE IS IT??..
It is all new and so close to best in class or Best in Class depending on what country the reviewer is from.
I am disgusted that you include 'other' old SUV's that would not hold a candle to the CX-5 Diesel...and NO I do not own one....also 'where' is the MX-5?..I do own one of those.

The MX-5 wont be in it as it's not a new model, but I do see where you are coming from with the CX-5. I did try one before buying my Yeti, and apart from the ridiculous pricing, it wasn't too bad a car.
