Which are the best cars on sale in Europe? We want you to help decide

What is the best car on sale in Europe? To answer that question, we’re joining forces with our sister magazines across Europe for the Continent’s biggest new car awards – the Golden Steering Wheel.

And we want you to help us decide by voting across six categories in our poll. The top five in each class will go through to the final where our expert panel of judges will select a winner.

Plus, simply by taking part you could win a fantastic prize – the chance to drive some of the world’s best supercars on some of the UK’s most renowned race tracks, courtesy of

You’ll choose between the likes of Silverstone, Donington or Rockingham for your track-day prize, and then tear up the tarmac in a range of metal that includes the Aston Martin V8, the Ferrari 360 and the Ariel Atom V8. (Click here to see's range.)

So vote for your favourite compact family car, family car, luxury car, MPV, SUV and coupe or convertible, and be a part of one of the most prestigious car awards in the world.

Where the hell is the all new Mazda CX-5 in this "Vote for Europe's Best Car"...WHERE IS IT??..
It is all new and so close to best in class or Best in Class depending on what country the reviewer is from.
I am disgusted that you include 'other' old SUV's that would not hold a candle to the CX-5 Diesel...and NO I do not own one....also 'where' is the MX-5?..I do own one of those.

The MX-5 wont be in it as it's not a new model, but I do see where you are coming from with the CX-5. I did try one before buying my Yeti, and apart from the ridiculous pricing, it wasn't too bad a car.

I doubt whether there is anyone in a position to vote sensibly in such a competition.
