New Audi A4 2015 official pics revealed - pictures

The wraps have been pulled off Audi's A4 saloon.

The A4 is Audi's rival to the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C-Class.

Prices are expected to start at around £28,000.

The exterior design is more evolutionary than revolutionary and looks very similar to the current model.

By using the MLB Evo platform the A4 has shed 120kg in weight.

Audi also revealed the A4 Avant, the estate version of the A4.

Space for passengers inside both the A4 and the A4 Avant has been increased.

The new A4 gets seven all new or heavily revised engines.

The ageing cabin has been addressed with a cleaner look and more intuitive infotainment system.

The new 148bph Ultra diesel returns up to 74.3mpg and 95 g/km CO2 - class leading figures.

All engines get a six speed manual gearbox as standard.

The A4 gets lots of new technology such as traffic-jam assist and advanced adaptive cruise control.

The Audi A4 has lots of rivals including the 3 Series, C-Class, Jaguar XE, and Alfa-Romeo's upcoming Giulia.
