SEAT Ibiza (new)

A replacement is still over a year away, so Ibiza owners shouldn’t expect to see any improvement in its ride quality, voted the worst here, any time soon. Otherwise, it’s fared well. Given its compact size and frugal engines, a 30th place ranking for running costs is no big surprise, while 33rd in the performance category justifies SEAT’s sporty image.

MANUFACTURER VERDICT

Not a great performance – and it’s mainly due to ride quality. What’s more, patchy build is also a common complaint. At least running costs come in for some praise.
