Fiat Panda (new)

Looking for a cheap small car? This takes some beating. You’ve awarded Fiat’s boxy city star high marks for running costs and ease of driving. All the more disappointing, then, that the rest of the package seems to let it down. Although bosses will be pleased with 16th for reliability, the Panda could manage only 92nd for comfort and an equally dismal 91st for ride quality.

MANUFACTURER VERDICT

Hopefully, we won’t see Fiat down here for much longer. Uncomfortable, unreliable, badly built and no fun to drive is your view. Surely the 500 and Bravo will change that next year?
