Renault Clio (new)

A fair result for the latest Clio. However, despite Renault’s recent boasts of improved quality, this scorecard has ‘could do better’ written all over it. Positions of 40th and 60th for reliability and build are better than for the old Clio, but still have some way to go to match the likes of Honda. The Clio finishes nine places above its Peugeot 207 rival, though.
