Rover 75

The company may be gone, but you still hold one of its best models very close to your hearts. If there’s a long journey to be taken, the 75 is the perfect partner. It also scores well on build quality and braking, too, plus it’s easy to drive. The Rover’s never been particularly spacious, but 93 per cent of owners said the 75 had lived up to their expectations.

MANUFACTURER VERDICT

Another loyal showing by Rover owners – but even their patience is wearing thin. Only a good ride saves the old favourite from slipping further. Can its Chinese parents offer a solution?
