The biggest failing i think is the ford focus similarities, subaru imprezas lost their individuality by taking on a generic car look instead of the individuality subaru were well known for in the past. I always wanted an Impreza but then i took a look at the models first impression "its a focus in a subaru badge". its lost the spirit that makes people think thats a nice car can i have one. d Its also lost its brusque look. They may have wanted a car to fit all and lose the boy racer image but think that went wayward.
The standard WRX STi is already a lightning fast way of getting from A to B, but the 320R adds greater pace, more flexibility and free sat-nav into the mix. Even so, it feels like a car that’s growing long in the tooth. High fuel consumption and a low-rent interior are becoming increasingly difficult to justify for Subaru, especially with hot hatches now offering similar real-world pace, enjoyment and practicality for significantly less money. The new Impreza, due next year, can’t arrive soon enough.
