Seat Ibiza Cupra

Here’s proof that Ibiza is still the destination for thrill-seekers! This is the Cupra version of SEAT’s stylish supermini, which boasts a supercharged and turbocharged 178bhp 1.4-litre TSI engine hooked up to a seven-speed twin-clutch DSG gearbox with steering wheel shift-paddles.

Promising more pace than the outgoing 1.8-litre turbo model but with greater efficiency, it should be a real all-rounder. Expect 0-60mph in seven seconds and a top speed of 140mph. Uprated brakes and suspension will make sure it corners as well as it accelerates.

Although it doesn’t get the stunning nose from the Bocanegra concept, it still looks great with a mild bodykit, 17-inch alloy wheels and a newly designed rear bumper with an integrated difuser.  Sales start this summer with a price tag of around £14,500.
