Is the Dodge Ram 'Black Package' the meanest-looking truck ever?

The 'Black Package' specification makes for the most aggressive looking Dodge Ram yet.

Dodge has introduced the 'Black Package' to its 2500 and 3500 SRW Ram Heavy Duty pickup following the success of the 'Black Express' package available for the Ram 1500.

The Dodge Ram with 'Black Package' is characterised by its all black exterior. For around $42,000 (the equivalent of about £25,000), buyers of the Ram 'Black Package' get 20-inch black aluminium wheels, fog lamps, a black grille surround with horizontal inserts, plus colour coded bumpers and tailgate.

Dodge has removed all side-badging from the Ram 'Black Package', unless buyers order it with the 6.7-litre Cummins Turbo Diesel engine, which still gets the silver and black designation. Buyers of the Dodge Ram 'Black Package' also get projector beam headlamps with black bezels, plus parking sensors and a parking camera as standard equipment.

The 'Black Package' is available on the single and twin cab Dodge Ram, and can be specced on Big Horn/Lone Star and Laramie models. All Dodge Ram 'Black Package' models also come with a choice of two or four-wheel-drive.

The Dodge Ram 'Black Package' will not, however, be available in the UK.

Meanest looking? No. Ugliest? Most certainly.

What has aggression got to do with driving? I suppose it just identifies the vehicle to the cops as worth a pull.

Black Package? Unfortunate!

I love it .Looks real mean and angry.I want one.
