Prices have been confirmed for the new, British-built Honda CR-V. The range will go on sale in October starting from £21,395 for the entry-level, two-wheel-drive 2.0-litre i-VTEC S petrol model, rising to £32,650 for the top of the range 2.2-litre i-DTEC diesel EX with four-wheel drive and an automatic gearbox.
Honda has cut the number of different equipment levels for the CR-V this time around, from five to four, so the line-up is now made up of S, SE, SR and EX.
Entry-level cars feature a five-inch Intelligent Multi Info Display, climate control, cruise control and 17-inch alloy wheels, while the next level SE CR-Vs add auto lights and wipers, front and rear parking sensors a rear-view parking camera and front fog lights.
The new trim level is SR, which includes heated front seats, a DAB Radio, xenon lights and 18-inch alloys. Top-spec EX cars get a leather interior, power tailgate, electric driver’s seat, a panoramic glass roof and integrated sat nav.
The Honda CR-V is available with two or four-wheel drive. The two-wheel-drive car is currently only available with a petrol engine and a six-speed manual gearbox.
On four-wheel-drive petrol CR-Vs, the automatic option costs £1,500 extra, while the auto option on diesel CR-Vs costs £1,640.

Just as I had feared. Expensive. :(
Does anyone else think this thing is hideous?? like something SSangyong would produce. Awful looking car. Last 2 models were much better looking.
Either you have cataracts or you are a tool. I'll let you decide which deficiency consumes you.
This is far better looking and engineered than all of its rivals. Not that you know jack about Honda engineering as is evident from your idiotic remark.
you really are an idiot
i hope its better than the old one which is cheap and nasty on the inside and like a bag of spanners to drive
