Next time you touch your car's steering wheel, be sure to wash your hands afterwards. The rim can carry more than twice as many germs as a toilet seat, says a new survey.
The report, by Tesco, shows steering wheels average 41,600 bacteria - compared with only 17,400 for the loo. "This proves how easily germs are passed on," said Tesco's Daniel Kyle.
