It is offering its dealers cash incentives to boost the sales of pre-owned vehicles, and that can only be good news for customers. By paying a bonus on each second-hand car a franchise sells, the company is hoping to increase the number of old models shifted via the network.
The amount a dealer receives depends on the car’s age – the bonus on vehicles more than two years old is double that for newer models.
