Dutch supercar builder Spyker has launched a new model to celebrate its association with the legendary Le Mans endurance race.
The C8 Laviolette LM85 made its debut at the L.A motor show this week, ahead of its showroom launch, early next year.
The LM85 has been inspired by the Spyker Squadron GT2 (LMES) race cars and sports a GT2 inspired livery. The LM85 is named after the starting number of the firm's GT2 cars that debuted at Le Mans in 2002.
The LM85 offers a race style interior and tuned 400bhp engine. What's more, all 24 LM85 wil be offered exclusive access to the team at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June 2009, where they will also be given a special Chronoswiss 24 Hours Pilot Watch.
Alongside the new LM85, spyker also showed off its new Aileron model, the first time it has done so at a mojor motor show.
