LEXUS will not abandon the development of its carbon fibre bodied LF-A supercar, it has been announced, despite news that rival Honda has mothballed its programme to build a successor to the NSX.
The news was announced as parent firm Toyota also confirmed its commitment to the Formula One World Championship. It’s thought that a small number of LF-A models will be built this year, primarily to take part in various racing championships around the world.
